Why we help

We help people with hearing impairments, because we firmly believe that every person has the right to equal participation in social life. Hearing impairment must not be a barrier –neither in everyday life nor in education, work, or social participation.

Many people with hearing impairments still experience barriers, prejudices, and exclusion. We want to change that. Our mission is to promote inclusion, education, and equal opportunities worldwide.

With targeted projects, on-site support, and awareness work, we contribute to making people with hearing impairments
more visible, more self-determined, and better included.

save the deaf e.V. stands for a future in which every person – whether in Germany, Africa, Asia, or Latin America – has access to information, education, and social opportunities.
