Who we are

We are save the deaf e.V., a non-profit organization committed to advocating for the rights and needs of people with hearing impairments worldwide. Our goal is to promote inclusion, break down barriers, and improve access to education, communication, and social participation.

Our story

The idea for save the deaf e.V. arose from Pascal Kleimeyer’s long-standing wish to establish an association for people with hearing impairments. After two failed attempts in North Rhine-Westphalia, he decided to make a fresh start in southern Germany – inspired by his partner Elena Evenko.
Together with five committed supporters – Gerald Schneider, Tannja Frank, Markus Frank, Klaus Hofer, and Ute Schuck-Hohner – the association was officially founded on July 18, 2024.
An important milestone followed in February 2025, when save the deaf e.V. was successfully registered.

💙 This event fills us with great joy and motivation to further pursue our mission!
