save the deaf e.V. strives to make its website accessible in accordance with the requirements of the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) as well as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1, Level AA).

Our goal is to provide all people – especially people with hearing impairments – with the most barrier-free access possible to information and digital services.

Status of compliance

This website is partially accessible. We are continuously working to improve accessibility.

Areas that are currently not or only partially accessible:

• Some PDF documents have not yet been made accessible

• Content in German Sign Language (DGS) is being added gradually

• Videos do not yet consistently include subtitles or transcripts

Our measures

• We rely on simple language and clear structures in design

• We are working on integrating sign language videos on key topics

• We plan to make all forms for support services accessible

• We regularly check the website for technical and content barriers
